“Jaish Al-Islam” militia kidnaps 3 Kurdish women and a child in Afrin and Turkish occupation claims they are members of “SDF”

On Friday \ 10th of July, the “Jaish Al-Islam” militia expelled from Damascus countryside kidnapped two Kurdish girls, under the pretext of their attempt to plant explosive devices in the vicinity of its headquarters located in “Kawa” roundabout area in the occupied center of Afrin region in northern Syria.

Afrinpost correspondent stated that the militants of the “Jaish Al-Islam” militia kidnapped each of “Sevin Ahmed Sadeq Ibo / 20 years old” (from Berkesheh village in Bulbul district) and “Nisreen Walid / 23 years old (from the village of Ramdana of Jenderes district, while they were walking on the street, and then they were handed over to the Turkish Intelligence.

The correspondent added that the Turkish intelligence, accompanied by the “civil police” militia, raided on the same day, the house of “Sevin Ibo” in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, and arrested her mother, “Malak”, a widow, and her younger brother “Muhammad / 15 years old”, and brutally assaulted them by beating and insulting them.

The militia also assaulted her other daughter (without being able to document her name), and threw her in the street for the neighbors to embrace her, as the gunmen seized the house and sealed it with red wax.

On July 10, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of six people in the city of Afrin and claimed that they belonged to the Syrian Democratic Forces and were involved in terrorist activities.

The Turkish occupation forces and its Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood have routinely directed prepared charges against Kurdish citizens in Afrin, the most prominent of which is affiliation with the SDF or previous work with former autonomous-administration institutions.
