Islamic militias’ fire reaches the trees of the village of Soghanakeh

Afrinpost – Special

The Turkish occupation army and the militants of the Islamic militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves the “Syrian National Army”, set fire to the fields of olive trees belonging to the people of the village of “Soghanakeh” in the Shirawa district, in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria. .

This comes in the context of continuing the deliberate burning of fields planted with seasonal crops, especially wheat and barley, in addition to the deliberate burning of forests and olive trees, in the context of the efforts of the occupying forces to harm Kurdish farmers, and to undermine their insistence on holding on to their lands, whether in Afrin or Al-Shahba, or the regions of northeastern Syria .

A day before, the Afrinpost reporter could have a video of the burning of the Turkish occupation army and its Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, hundreds of olive trees belonging to the people of Sherawa district.

According to the video and the correspondent information, at least 8,310 olive trees belonging to more than forty Kurdish farmers from the district of Sherawa were burned in each of the villages (Burj Al-Qas, Barad and Kaluteh).
