Turkish Forces Shell Villages in Northern Aleppo

Yesterday, April 23rd, Turkish forces stationed at the Thalthana base in the countryside of Mare’ city, north of Aleppo province, targeted the villages of Samuqa and Umm al-Qura, inhabited areas in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo countryside, with more than 20 artillery shells.

According to our reporter, the artillery shelling also hit positions of the Syrian regime forces in the village of Samuqa, resulting in the death of two soldiers and the injury of three others with severe wounds.

The intensive artillery bombardment caused a state of panic and fear among children and civilians, with no information available regarding the extent of the damage.
