Video: The occupation uses “Al-Qalaa” prison, in Marea, for the Kurdish kidnappees from Afrin

In the occupied city of Marea, the Turkish occupation army and armed men of the Muslim Brotherhood known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army” have dedicated a prison for kidnappees and Kurdish detainees from the occupied Afrin region, by converting a school to a prison.

According to special sources of “Afrinpost”, the prison is called “Al-Qalaa”, and it is located in the north of the occupied city of Marea, within the “Farouh Street”, where it was a school of education, and around it the Turkish occupation of a prison in which the Afrin Kurds are arrested only.

According to the sources, the prison currently contains hundreds of Kurds who were kidnapped and detained in Afrin, under the pretext of being in the “People’s Protection Units” or advocacy of the former “Self-Administration” in Afrin.

The sources pointed out that the Turkish occupation practices within the aforementioned prison the most horrific types of torture and criminal practices against its inmates, whether through physical or psychological torture, by insulting them in profanity, while the prison runs by the militia “Military Police”.

In a related context, the “Afrinpost” reporter at Afrin center indicated that the fate of the Kurdish elderly, “Shaheen Latif Baghdadi / 65 years old, is still unknown today, after he was kidnapped from the early days of the occupation of Afrin on the pretext of belonging to the Asayish forces, knowing that he was working as an architect in his town.
