“Al-Hamzah” militia in “Jouqeh” village imposes a royalty on those who live in the homes of their displaced relatives

Afrinpost – Special

Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, who are known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, and under the direct supervision of the Turkish occupation intelligence, continue to fight the livelihood of the remaining indigenous Kurdish population in the occupied Afrin region, by imposing a set of royalties and practices that lead in the end to impoverish them in order to displace them for the benefit of the settlers loyal to them.

In this context, the Afrinpost correspondent in the Afrin Center stated that the Al Hamza Squad militia continues to restrict the remaining Kurdish indigenous people in the village of “Joqeh / Juwaiq” affiliated to the Afrin Center, by imposing more royalties.

The reporter said that the militia militants threatened a number of Kurdish families who live in the homes of their relatives, by expelling them from the homes they live in case that 15 thousand Syrian pounds are not paid to them monthly.

It is known that in Afrin there are families who live in homes belonging to their relatives, after the displacement of their original owners out of the region, during the Turkish invasion in March 2018, or were abandoned during the period of the occupation that spanned two years, as a result of widespread violations of the Kurdish indigenous population, by militants of the Muslim Brotherhood.
