“Abu al-Bara” an ISIS member in Afrin: specialized in recruiting extremists to fight in Libya

Afrinpost – Special

Information confirm the participation of extremist organizations in the invasion of the Kurdish region of Afrin, its occupation, and the contribution to the Turkish occupation in displacing the indigenous population of the region, and changing its demography for the benefit of settlers with armed groups (the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, Al-Nusra, and Al-Qaeda) are continuing.

In this context, “Afrinpost” learned from its sources that the ISIS operative, called “Abu Al-Bara”, is still working as a legitimate member of the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” militia, and is currently residing in the headquarters of “Abu Muhammad Sharqiya”, located in the Ashrafieh neighborhood of Afrin center.

The sources confirmed that the so-called “Abu al-Bara” is married to three women, one of whom is from Tunisia, and is specialized in recruiting the extremist elements for the benefit of the Turkish intelligence in order to send them to Libya, and to fight there alongside the Libyan Accordance government.

On the 7th of March, the Afrinpost had learned, from sources among Islamic militia militants, that Turkish intelligence had included ISIS operatives in the battle to take over the town of Sheikh Aqil in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The sources confirmed at the time, that the elements were detained in the “Marate / Maarateh” prison and were released from the prison with the aim of participating in the battles of controlling the villages and towns of the western countryside of Aleppo, stating that after the completion of the control of the town, the elements were returned to the prison, and that some of them died in those battles.

On March 5, Sky News Arabia showed video clips of gunmen belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS, fighting alongside the Turkish occupation army in Idlib governorate, northwestern Syria, in the latest indication of Turkey’s exploitation of terrorist organizations, and armed men appeared, placing ISIS flags on their military uniforms in front of the body of a Syrian regime soldier.

Many reports confirmed that Ankara relied on terrorist-classified organizations in its military operations and provided them with air and ground support, which was repeated during the invasion and occupation of Afrin, “Sereh Kanieh / Ras Al-Ain”, and “Gre Spi / Tel Abyad”.

According to observers, the form of direct assimilation between ISIS and the occupied Turkish army takes many forms, if it is in the form of mercenaries in Libya, or the extremists dress the Turkish military uniform and fight under the cover of artillery and attacking aircraft, and move in the mechanisms that Ankara sent to reinforce its points and military operation in Syrian Idlib .

At the beginning of March, Moscow explicitly accused Turkey of violating international law, and that it merged the points of concentration of its soldiers in Idlib with the fortified areas of the organizations that the world classifies as terrorist, namely the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al-Sham and the Turkistan Party and the organization of Guardians of Religion and others, but concluded an agreement with Turkey on the fifth of the same month, which led To stop the regime’s military attack on Idlib, amid fears of secret clauses in the agreement that could lead to leaving half of the province occupied by the Turkish occupation and its militant groups.

These organizations have become the pillar of the occupying Turkish army in any ground attack in Syria, and they have committed war crimes in all areas where they fought with the Turkish invasion if it was against the SDF and the Kurdish component when they carried out field executions.
