Hatay court of the Turkish occupation issued unjust rulings against 11 detainees in Afrin

On December 12 this year, the Turkish Hatay Court issued varying rulings on eleven Kurdish citizens who were arrested in mid-September 2018, from their homes in the village of “Umar \ Umar Oshagi” of Rajo district, by the Turkish occupation intelligence and Muslim Brotherhood organization militia of the “Military Police”.

A source close to the detainees told the media office of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria that the Hatay-Turkish Court issued its decision, on December 12, 2019, with a life sentence of seven of them (the two brothers, “Idris and Genghis Nassan sons of Ibrahim”, Rizan Ahmad son of Bahjat, Masoud Kalkawi son of Majeed, Ramadan Mahoo son od Hanif, Muhammad Jaafar son of Khulousi, Firas Kalkawi son of Faiq) And with imprisonment / 12 / years for four others, they are each of the two brothers “Ibish and Ahmed Mahoo sons of Muhammad”, Hussain Kalkawi son of Ahmed, Rashid Mahoo son of Sabri ).

In a statement to the Mesopotamia agency, dated December 14, 2019, lawyer Sobhi Zarif, from the Defense of the Detainees team, confirmed that the second criminal court in Hatay sentenced to life imprisonment three times for the seven charges (sabotaging the unity and integrity of the state, intentional killing, belonging to the organization) and to 12 years in prison for “belonging to the organization”.

It is reported that other citizens of the same village (Khushnaf Nasan Bin Ramzi - arrested in the village, Shirvan Nasan bin Aziz – arrested in Turkey) have been forcibly disappeared since March 2018, and their fate remains unknown.
