Pro-Turkey IDPs commit thefts and cut olive trees in Afrin

Our reporter in Afrin stated that IDPs, affiliated with Turkish-backed factions, have stolen agricultural equipment from the lands of Kurdish citizens, as well as an electric generator from a blacksmith shop, while armed militants continue to cut down olive trees in the occupied region of Afrin.

In detail, IDPs were monitored stealing hoses and agricultural tools from the lands of residents of the villages of Terendah and Ain-Dara in the center of Afrin district, after setting up tents near the agricultural lands, to sell the stolen items later as scrap in markets.

On the morning of Friday, February 17, IDPs also stole a mobile electric generator from the blacksmith shop belongs to “Saeed Youssef” near the Joudi bakery in the industrial area and loaded it into a blue Kia car.

Meanwhile, militants cut down 35 olive trees from the field of citizen “Saeed Hussein” located near the Kurzeleh road in the center of Afrin.
