Turkish Forces Detain Kurdish Returnees in Afrin

According to our correspondent, Turkish forces recently arrested Kurdish civilians returning from forced displacement to the occupied region of Afrin.

In detail, on March 7th, the military police militia in Afrin arrested Ahmed Ibrahim Hanan (48 years old) from the village of Badina – Rajo district, from his home near the Shari’a Garden in the occupied city of Afrin.

It is noteworthy that Ahmed returned from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to the city of Afrin five days before his arrest by the military police militia on charges of affiliation with the previous Autonomous Administration.

On the same day, March 7th, the military police militia in Afrin also arrested Rezan Sheikh Mohammed (36 years old) from the village of Yalanqoz – Jindires district, after returning from forced displacement in the Shahba region to his home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood.
