afrinpost – Exclusive

“A gunman of the Turkish-backed “Jaish al-Islam” militia sold a house for $ 1,100 to an IDP from Hama. The house is located in Al-Hakim building – Terende Road in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, and belongs to the citizen Nuri Najjar.” Our correspondent reported.

“Another militant of “Jaish al-Islam” militia sold a house located in the village of Terende, near Afrin city, to an IDP from Ghouta for $ 600. Knowing that the house belongs to the Kurdish citizen Zaki Hessou.” The correspondent added.

The owners of the houses filed a complaint about the sale of their houses with the so-called “Rights and Grievances Restitution Committee” but the committee rejected them, and invoked a fabricated excuse that they were practicing magic and writing ruqyah (hijabs).

Our correspondent also stated that IDP from Ghouta cultivate agricultural land owned by the forcibly displaced people of the village of Terende, and prevent their relatives from managing it. Noting that “Jaish al-Islam” rejects “Power of attorneys” that are in possession of the displaced people’s relatives, on the pretext that they are issued by departments of the Syrian regime.
