Two people were killed and several others wounded in car bomb explosion in the city of Afrin

A car bomb exploded this afternoon, Tuesday, in the center of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, killing two people and wounding more than one other person in a preliminary outcome.

According to the Afrinpost correspondent, the explosion was carried out by a car bomb in the industrial zone, specifically in front of the headquarters of the “Economic Office” of the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia in front of Judy bakery. Resulting severe damage to nearby shops and buildings. Many cars parked in the area also crashed, while Ambulances rushed to the bombing site to recover the bodies and the injured, pointing out that the force of the explosion was “enormous” to the point of damaging the doors and windows in Ashrafieh neighborhood next to the industrial zone.

The reporter was not able to know the identities of the injured and the dead yet.
