Jaish Al-Sharqiya Shoot Four Kurds Dead for Setting Newroz Fire in Jindires

Four Kurdish citizens were shot dead today, Monday, by the Turkish-affiliated “Jaish al-Sharqiya” militants, for lighting the Newroz flame on the roofs of their homes in the town of Jindires in the occupied countryside of Afrin.

Local sources reported that gunmen from the “Jaish Al-Sharqiya” militia, led by the so-called “Addabae”, shot citizens while lighting the Newroz flame on the roofs of their homes near the Al-Sina’a neighborhood in the town of Jindires, after insulting them and calling them infidels for celebrating Newroz.

The sources added that the deliberate shooting resulted in the immediate death of four individuals from the “Peshmerga” family, originally from the village of Hekeja, and the serious injury of three others. The dead are: Farhan Din Othman (43 years old), Ismail Othman (38 years old), Muhammad Ismail Othman (18 years old), Muhammad Othman (42 years old), and “Nazmi” who was seriously injured and is now in critical condition.

The bodies were transferred to the field hospital near the occupied Jindires hill, while one of them was transferred to Turkey for his serious injuries.

It is worth mentioning the city is witnessing a security and military alert, as the military police imposed a security cordon on Jindires town.
