On the eighth of February of the year 2018, the Turkish invasions accompanying the Muslim Brotherhood militia known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army” continued on its twentieth day invasion, on the Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, with the aim of depriving its residents of their legitimate right to manage themselves, within The political system they created under the name of “self-administration”, which managed to protect them from the fierce civil war that had been raging for seven years on the outskirts of Afrin, without allowing the people of Afrin from the “Syrian Democratic Forces” to leak terrorists and hidden extremists under the names ( Revolution and freedom) to their country in order to sabotage and demolish the Syrian social fabric, in the service of the Turkish occupation ambitions seeking to restore the defunct “Ottoman”.

Politically

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoglu held talks with Iranian officials in Tehran, after Iranian public criticism of the so-called “olive branch”, at a time when Ankara criticized French statements on the same operation.

On that day, Chawishoglu met his Iranian counterpart, Muhammed Javad Zarif, and President Hassan Rouhani. The visit of the Turkish minister to Tehran came two days after Iran asked Turkey to stop its military operation in Afrin, considering that the operation violates the sovereignty of Syria and increases tensions in it, as Iranian media quoted President Hassan Rouhani said during his meeting with the Turkish foreign minister that Tehran is ready to develop cooperation with Ankara to solve regional problems and raise the concerns of the region.

The Turkish foreign minister considered that the United States wants to spoil the growing relations between Turkey and Iran, and Iranian media have reported that Mevlüt Çavuşoglu said that the Afrin operation is temporary and aimed at eliminating “terrorism” in the region, and the Turkish minister denied that his country has ambitions in Syrian lands. On Tuesday, the Turkish foreign minister denied any deal with any party, including the United States, over Afrin.

In the same context, the Turkish Foreign Ministry criticized yesterday statements by French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, saying that Turkey has a legitimate right to protect the security of its borders, and that protecting border security does not mean killing civilians, and a Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman said that his country is waiting for its allies to stand by its side in its war Based on what he described as “terrorist organizations” in Afrin (in reference to preventing the Kurds from acquiring their legitimate rights within the country’s future constitution) and refraining from supporting any “terrorist organization” with any statements, knowing that the YPG and the SDF were the only party in Syria Who defeated terrorism Supported by Turkey in the form of ISIS and Al-Nusra.

militarily

The head of the Turkish invasion, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the military operations of the Turkish invasion army in northern Syria do not amount to “warm-up tours” (as he claimed), forgetting that his army did not dare to go to the battlefield, and was satisfied with air strikes and herds of Muslim Brotherhood militants Armed with what is known as the “Syrian National Army”, where he pledged at the time to start “major movements and campaigns”, during the next stage, after his army failed on most fronts of Afrin, which he would not have dreamed of had it not been for the warplanes that did not leave the sky of the region for two months From the invasion.

The media commented on his speech at the time that he contradicted his previous statements when he commented on Turkey’s occupation of strategic mountains in Afrin, saying: “There is little left,” in a sign of full control over the region.

Simultaneously, the militants of the Muslim Brotherhood, known as the “Free Army / National Army”, declared the occupation of the district of Jenderes district (which was false allegations as Jenderes remained in the resistance line until the last period of the occupation of the region).

In turn, the British newspaper “The Independent” revealed in a report about Turkey’s recruitment of fighters from the terrorist organization ISIS to participate in the attack on the Kurdish Afrin in northern Syria, and the British newspaper quoted a former armed man in ISIS that the Turkish forces had recruited fighters for the organization and trained them to attack Kurdish targets In Afrin.

“The majority of those who are fighting in Afrin against the Kurdish people’s protection units ISIS,” added the former armed man, who only mentioned his first name, “Faraj,” and pointed out that Ankara trained these militants in order to change their military tactics, so that they adopt new methods different from car bombs and Suicidal attacks, so that the process does not show Turkish-ISIS cooperation and provoke international criticism.

The newspaper stated that although Faraj had left ISIS, he was still in contact with a man of ISIS militants in northern Syria, noting that he descended from the Syrian province of Hasaka, and Faraj continued: “At the beginning of the operation, Turkey tried to deceive people claiming that it was fighting ISIS, but in reality it trained these people and sent them to Afrin. ”

Ankara stated that 6 thousand soldiers for the Turkish invasion and about 10 militants of the Muslim Brotherhood, crossed the Turkish border towards Afrin to expel the Kurds, but that does not seem true according to the British newspaper, and says, “The Independent” that the majority of the militants involved in the “olive branch” are ISIS members, noting a video posted on the Internet showing 3 militants in Afrin, chanting songs for terrorists and extremists in Chechnya and Tora Bora in Afghanistan, and they also chanted “Afrin is calling us.”

According to the report of the newspaper, ISIS were forced to fight within the umbrella of what is known as the “Free Army”, after the Turkish authorities exercised “pressure on them”, and considered that Ankara had used the ISIS for their extensive experience in the fighting, and Faraj saw that Turkey used ISIS like “toilet paper”, When their mission ends, they will get rid of them, and according to “The Independent”, Turkey has hidden relationships with the ISIS terrorist organization that started since the outbreak of the war in Syria in 2011, but this relationship has receded a lot later.
