A 70-year-old Kurdish woman, Arifa Haider Jumma, was killed today, March 9th, in the village of Kabashin in the Sherawa district of the occupied Afrin countryside, as a result of the Syrian regime army’s targeting.
According to our correspondent, Arifa lost her life in one of the hospitals in the city of Afrin due to injuries sustained from the shelling by the Syrian regime army stationed in Mount Sheikh Aqeel in the western Aleppo countryside, using mortar shells targeting the village of Kabashin in the Sherawa district.
Six Kurdish civilians from a single family were injured in the attack: Arifa Jumma, Haider Abdo, Amer Haider, Abdeen Haider, Jameh Haider, and the 11-year-old girl, Arifa Haider, all residents of the village.
