Abducted Citizen Released Following Ransom Payment in Afrin

In a recent development, according to our sources, unidentified gunmen released abducted citizen Mohammed Ismail Mohammed on the evening of March 29. His release came after his family paid a ransom of seven thousand dollars through an intermediary residing in Turkey.

Mohammed Ismail Mohammed, a 41-year-old resident of Arab community of Afrin, was abducted from his home near the Dersim Hospital at the Marateh intersection on the night of March 19 by unknown armed individuals. The reasons behind his abduction remain unclear.

It’s worth noting that Mohammed Ismail Mohammed owns a store specializing in the sale and repair of mobile devices in the occupied city of Afrin.
