afrinpost – Exclusive

On September 2nd, four individuals, including two women, were injured in a landmine explosion from war remnants near one of the tent settlements for earthquake victims in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin.

According to our correspondent, two IDPs were injured, one of whom is “Mohammed Ahmed Al-Khalid,” originally from the town of Maarat Hurmah in the Idlib countryside. Two indigenous Afrin women were also injured as they happened to be passing by at the moment of the explosion. Fortunately, their injuries were minor, while the IDP “Mohammed Ahmed” sustained severe injuries.

It’s worth noting that on August 16, 2022, two children were killed, and other children were injured in an explosion of a war remnants device they had found and tampered with in the village of Bozikeh, located in the Jindires sub-district of occupied Afrin
