‘Sultan Murad’ militia forces Kurds to plow seized fields in Bulbul, Afrin

Local sources reported that the leader Abu Al-Walid Azza, the economic responsible in the “Sultan Murad” militia, is forcing tractor owners to plow the olive fields belonging to the displaced people of the Bulbul district, which the militia seizes, for free.

The sources clarified that Abu Al-Walid is imposing the plowing of agricultural lands on the tractor owners from the villages of Qurtah, Qasha, Khalilaka, Quta, Ashuna, Kareh, Bibaka, and other villages in the Bulbul district, under the ownership of the aforementioned displaced villages forcibly expelled from Afrin, and seized by the “Sultan Murad” militia.

The sources added that the responsible person is forcing the tractor owners to work for free under the threat of arms and seizing their tractors.

It is worth mentioning that the issue of forcing Kurdish citizens to work for free in the occupied fields is a widespread phenomenon in many villages in Afrin.

On November 13, “afrinpost” observed that “Jaish al-Nukhba\ Elite Army” militia members controlling the villages of Amara, Shekhutka, Midanki, Omr Smo, Zetunaka, Kurdo, and Aboudan, forced some of the people in those villages to harvest olive trees for free, in the fields they seize, which contains about five thousand olive trees.
