Sites affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Syria said that the Turkish occupation started the power plant in Afrin on Thursday / November 19, adding that this was done after work that lasted more than eight months from the start of implementation, according to what was reported by the local council of the occupation in Afrin through its account on “Telegram”.

The so-called deputy head of the local occupation council in Afrin, called Muhammad Sheikh Rashid, stated that the first phase aims to deliver electricity to the city of Afrin and Jenderes district, and the second phase to the rest of Afrin.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s websites indicated that the project of delivering electricity to Afrin had begun after obtaining the Turkish and Syrian approvals on April 2, considering that the project that concerns Afrin is being implemented by the Turkish government, unlike its other areas of influence in the northern countryside of Aleppo (Operation Euphrates Shield areas), whose projects are implemented by private Turkish companies, and modern Syrian ones in the field of investment in the region.

The aforementioned confirms the Turkish plans to divide Syria and annex Afrin to its lands, while this is taking place in front of the Russian side, which has always claimed its defense of the unity of the Syrian territories, as this reduces it to talking about the Syrian Democratic Forces and the American side, but it completely turns a blind eye on The Turkish practices, which are clearly visible, in dividing the Syrian lands, the engineering of the demography according to the whims of Ankara, and its tools from the militants of the Muslim Brotherhood organization known as the “Syrian National Army.”

And all this is happening despite the fact that the Russian Ministry of Defense had confirmed for the first time since the occupation of the Kurdish region of Afrin on the third of last March, according to the head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, Major General Oleg Goravlov, that the Turkish occupation authorities are settling Turkmens in areas from which the Kurds were expelled , Which led to a radical change in the demographic composition of those regions.

At the time, the Reconciliation Center noted that the number of forcibly displaced of Afrin’s original inhabitants as a result of the Turkish invasion called “Olive Branch” has reached about 250,000 people, most of them Kurds, in addition to the displacement of more than 135,000 people, the majority of whom are Kurds as well, as a result of Turkish invasion, through which the Turkish occupation forces and the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood occupied the sector extending between the cities of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain and Girê Sp / Tal Abyad.
