The correspondent of “Afrinpost” at the center of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria said that settlers stole the house of the Kurdish citizen “Hanan Abdo”, a resident of the village of Kimar, which is located in Ashrafieh neighborhood in the center of the region, he is disabled, while the stolen sum reached 150,000 Syrian pounds, in addition to two gas cylinders.

Separately, the reporter indicated that the checkpoint of the village of Tirinde demands the ids of Kurdish citizens, and they smuggle citizens by claiming that they are wanted, as a new method of extortion, as they take from every Kurdish civilian who is intimidated an amount of 10,000 Syrian pounds, in exchange for letting him go.

On the other hand, settlers cut down 20 olive trees belonging to a Kurdish citizen of the Abdalo family, which is from the village of Tirinde.

The Islamic militias affiliated with Turkey are known to rely on looting, and the Kurdish property is considered “spoils.” The videos that the militants published in Afrin after its occupation showed how civilians were looted and their shops were looted, the day the fall of Afrin on the 18th of March. 2018, called “Locust Day”.
