Muslim Brotherhood organization cladding houses occupied by settlers

Afrinpost – Special

A Muslim Brotherhood organization called “Syria Relief and Development” launched, about twenty days ago, a project to clad the unfinished buildings in the center of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria and the nearby villages.

The project is concerned with equipping and cladding residential apartments and houses (installing doors, windows, plumbing, water tanks, plastering, etc.), and does not agree to help the indigenous Kurds of Afrin, under the pretext that they do not need help, or the excuse that they are “residents” and not “displaced / settlers”.

Kurdish citizens applied to that project, but the organization refused to decide on their request under the pretext that it would only help the “displaced”. The organization has a branch for medical aid and receives funding from the so-called “Qatar Charity”.

That organization also opens a center for memorizing the Qur’an in a seized house owned by the Arab citizen (Muhammad Rustom), and claims that it rented it from the “Sultan Murad Division” militia, taking it from the headquarters of the “Hawar” news agency previously, as its center, in the old neighborhood of Afrin.
