The people of “Burj Haydar” village confronted settlers who tried to steal the sheep of a Kurdish shepherd

The residents of the “Burj Haydar” village of Sherawa district in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, rejected the settlers ’actions in the village, and responded to them after they trey to steal a lamb of a shepherd, and attacked the house of the shepherd, who prevented their theft of the sheep.

The Afrinpost correspondent in the Sherawa district reported that the village of “Burj Haydar” witnessed chaos two days ago when settlers attempted to steal a sheep from a shepherd in the village, but the shepherd prevented and beat them as well.

The reporter indicated that the settlers, women and men, launched an attack on the home of the shepherd, who is “Ahmed Salloum,” explaining that the family of citizen Salloum had confronted them, to be supported by the villagers, and they could confront the settlers who tried to afflict the shepherd.

The reporter stated that the settlers returned to the houses they occupied in the village, after they witnessed the villagers conglomerate around the shepherd, adding that it was the first time that the people of a village emerged in this way in the face of the settlers without fear of the consequences of the matter, noting that one of the gunmen had directed insults before the incident several days later to another shepherd, without reason, in an attempt to provoke him.
