The US State Department meets a group of Kurdish parties in Syria

In the context of the initiative launched by the Commander in Chief of the “Syrian Democratic Forces”, General Mazloum Abdi, for the Unity of the Kurdish Front, yesterday morning, Sunday 26 April, the American Ambassador William Robak and his assistant Emily Brandit met with five leaders of the Kurdish political parties to discuss the current steps, according to the Nabd Al-Shamal website .

The US State Department heard the opinions and suggestions of various political parties on how to enrich the initiative and make it successful, as they met with politicians, among whom were: Muhyiddin Sheikh Ali, secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria, Salih Kudo, secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Left Party in Syria.

In addition to Nasr al-Din Ibrahim, Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Party), Fawzi Shangali, Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Accord Party in Syria, and Amjad Othman, a member of the executive body of the Reform Movement.

The US State Department representatives also met with the leaders of three other political parties during the evening, who are: Muhammad Musa, secretary of the Syrian Kurdish Left Party, Jamal Sheikh Baqi, secretary of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, and Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the executive body of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria .

It is likely that US State Department representatives will complete its program of meetings with other Kurdish political parties in the future.
