The militia (Civil Police) of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood arrested six citizens in the village of “Bilbleh / Bulbul” on charges of serving within the “Self-Defense Forces” as part of their efforts to extort them financially and restrict them with the aim of defaming and emptying the region of its indigenous Kurdish population.

The Afrinpost correspondent in the district reported that the “Civil Police” militia arrested on January 7, each of the citizens (Mahmoud Omar, Ibish Zakaria Rasho, Jamal Muhammad Dino, Mirvan Muhammad Dino, Muhammad Mamo Sheikho, and Muhammad Khlo Rashid).

The reporter stated that the militia released the citizens (Mahmoud Omar, Muhammad Sheikho and Muhammad Rashid) after paying a fine of (100,000) Syrian pounds while the rest of the detainees are still in detention.

The reporter added that the fate of the son of the citizen Mahmoud Omar (Farhad) is still unknown, as he was kidnapped in the first days of the occupation of the Kurdish region of Afrin in the middle of March 2018.

The Syrians for Truth and Justice organization has documented the kidnappings in Afrin , most of them were carried out by the military police, the “civilian police” and the “Waqas Brigade” militias, in addition to other occupation militias.
