Gunmen from the militia of the “Al-Majd” of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, attacked a Kurdish citizen on Sunday, under the pretext of hiding the true amount of his harvest in the current olive season, in order to reduce the value of royalties imposed on the crop.

The Afrinpost correspondent in Rajo district said that the “Majlis al-Majd” militia, currently led by Abu Adel, physically assaulted Luqman Hanan (Balouseh), a resident of Chupana village of Raju, and tortured him by applying a (Falaqa) penalty under the pretext of reducing the number of oil plates produced by his oil crop, to evade the royalties imposed on him by the militia.

On October 5, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published a video showing gunmen in Afrin attacking a Kurdish citizen in a public square in Afrin countryside, from “Ahrar Al-Sharqia” militia.

The scenes showed the beatings and humiliation of a Kurdish citizen in the public square of the town of Jenderes, and was subjected to the most severe beatings and torture, while sources told the “Syrian Observatory” that the violation occurred days earlier.
