Our correspondent reports that Turkish authorities released Kurdish detainee Ali Abdo Sheikho yesterday.
Sheikho, a resident of Baadina town who lives near the Newroz roundabout in the Al-Zaydiyah neighborhood of Afrin, had been detained for 19 days. He was accused of being a member of a commune during the previous Autonomous Administration and was fined $700.
Additionally, on Saturday, May 18th, the authorities arrested his brother, Hamid Abdo Sheikho, 48, on charges of working at an automated bakery run by the previous Autonomous Administration.
