Three villages in the al-Shahba area in the northern countryside of Aleppo were subjected today, December 29, to artillery and missile shelling by the Turkish forces stationed at the Thulthana base, located on the outskirts of the city of Marea, in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
Our reporter there stated that the shelling targeted the villages of Tal Madiq, Al-Shahba Dam and Samouqa, while the extent of the damage is still unknown.
The Turkish forces also shelled the surroundings of the village of Kafr Kars in the northern countryside of Aleppo with an artillery shell, leaving limited material damage.
The Turkish shelling came after targeting a military vehicle of the Turkish-backed “Waqqas Brigade” militia on the Twiss-Marea road, killing three members.
In addition, a crane and a military vehicle belonging to the Turkish forces were hit by a missile, wounding two members of the Turkish-backed militia.
