IDPs, loyal to Turkey, assaulted and expelled a Kurdish young man after he demanded his home in the occupied city of Afrin, following his deportation from Istanbul by the Turkish authorities about ten days ago.

Today, Tuesday, pages affiliated with the “National Army” militia circulated pictures showing the young man “Aref Shukri Suleiman,” who is 15 years old, lying on the sidewalk, after IDPs severely beat him, when he demanded his parents’ house, which the IDPs seize in Al-Zediya neighborhood in the occupied city of Afrin.

The young man “Aref” was living with his family in the city of Istanbul when the Turkish authorities arrested him and forcibly deported him to northern Syria without informing his family about ten days ago. Once he arrived in the city of Afrin, he went to their house and tried to recover the house from the IDPs, but they severely beat him and expelled him, threatening to beat him again if he returned.

Since that time, the young man “Aref” has been lying on the sidewalk near the Newroz roundabout, despite the bitter cold.

Cases of deportation continue by the Turkish authorities as part of the forced deportation policy of Syrian refugees on its lands, through deportation camps established on the Syrian-Turkish border.
