Our reporter said that a Turkish intelligence patrol arrested the 60-year-old Kurdish person, “Marwan Anwar Ibish”, from his home in the village of Sariya, in Ma’batli district, and took him to an unknown destination, on charges of working within the Core Protection Forces affiliated with the Autonomous Administration .

Also, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, armed men of the Turkish-backed “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia kidnapped the Kurdish young man Nidal Muhammad Muslim Qalandar (35 years), from the town of Maabatli, from his shop located near the old conscription building, and took him to the security headquarters and severely beat him because of harvesting the olive season from a field owned by his uncle “Izzat Qalandar.” The field is located near the train bridge “Jisr Sous” – the junction of Amara village. As Nidal took the crop to the olive press without informing the militias, they seized 35 oil cans and 11 large sacks of green olives from him.
