Turkish authorities arrested two residents of Jindires district, Hussein Ali Abdullah, 45, and Mundher Khalil Sheikho, 36, on Tuesday, November 26.
According to our correspondent, the two individuals were accused of affiliation with the “Internal Security Forces” (Heza Cewheri) of the former Autonomous Administration. Both had recently returned to Syria from Lebanon, seeking refuge after fleeing the war.
The arrests highlight ongoing tensions and accusations directed at individuals associated with the previous administration, raising concerns over the treatment of returnees and their reintegration into local communities under Turkish-controlled areas.
