Turkish Military Reinforcements Enter Northern Syria

On Thursday, October 10, the Turkish military brought reinforcements through the Bab Al-Salama border crossing in Azaz. The convoy included 17 military vehicles loaded with weapons, logistical supplies, and medical equipment, headed to Turkish bases along the frontlines with the Shahba region in northern Aleppo.

The day before, on October 9, another Turkish military convoy of 13 vehicles crossed through the same border point, making its way to the Turkish base in the Mariamin area.

These movements follow a field assessment visit on October 2, 2024, led by Turkish Land Forces Commander Selçuk Bayraktar oglu, accompanied by a military delegation, to Idlib and Afrin.
