Our correspondent reported that the “Hamza Division” militia arrested 45-year-old Mohammed Hussein Hussein on October 5. The arrest came after Hussein demanded the return of his home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, Afrin, which has been occupied by a “Hamza” fighter since 2018. Hussein’s family has been living in a tent near the neighborhood’s water tank. He was transferred to a prison in Azaz.
In a separate incident, the correspondent added that on Saturday, September 28, the “Military Police” militia arrested Mohammed Ali Sido Alo, a man in his sixties, from his home in the village of Kela in Bulbul sub-district. He was accused of having participated in nighttime guard duties during the former Autonomous Administration. Alo was released on Wednesday, October 2, after his family paid a ransom.
