According to our reporter, the militia known as the “Final Al-Harbr” has recently engaged in a tree felling operation in occupied Afrin. Specifically, they cut down 35 olive trees and six almond trees belonging to Khalil Hamo, a resident of the village of Khalilaka. This activity occurred along the road leading to the village of Meydana in the Rajo district.
The operation was reportedly led by an individual named “Allawi,” who hails from the southern countryside of Aleppo and holds a leadership position within the “Final Al-Harb” militia. Another individual involved in the operation is identified as “Ahmed Al-Mohammed,” originating from the countryside of Hama.
This incident adds to a concerning trend observed by “afrinpost“, as on March 9th, a total of 117 olive trees, 5 walnut trees, and 7 almond trees were cut down in the countryside of occupied Afrin. The perpetrators behind these acts include armed individuals and IDPs affiliated with the Turkish-allied militias.
