Militia Assaults on Kurdish Olive Groves Persist in Afrin

In the occupied region of Afrin, the Syrian National Army militias, operating under Turkish influence, continue their relentless attacks on properties owned by Kurds.

Our reporter said that the “Al-Sultan Murad” militia cut down 80 partially and 18 fully olive trees belonging to Khalil Mahmoud in the village of Sinka, in Sharan district of Afrin.

Reports reveal that, on January 18, the militia also targeted 55 olive trees owned by Jamil Hassan from the villages of Deirswan and Shilta’ta, in the Sharan district. Similarly, they cut down olive trees in the field of Haneef Abdul Rahman in the village of Mersawa, Sharan district.
