Turkish Authorities Detain Civilians on Charges Linked to Former Administration in Afrin

In a recent development, Turkish authorities have arrested three individuals from the village of Gamrook/ Gemrûkê in Afrin on charges of collaborating with institutions affiliated with the former Autonomous Administration in the occupied region.

“afrinpost” has learned that the Civil Police militia in Mobata/Ma’batli apprehended Ahmed Rashid Hamdoush (46 years old) and Suleiman Ali Jaweesh (68 years old) on November 7. Simultaneously, the Military Police militia in Afrin city arrested Manan Sami Oso (38 years old) on November 6. Notably, Manan had recently returned from Aleppo to his home in Afrin.

Additionally, afrinpost documented the arrest of Nidal Mohammed (40 years old), a resident of Khlalka village in the Rajo sub-district, on November 5 in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of occupied Afrin. The alleged charge against him is espionage for the Syrian Democratic Forces.
