In the early hours of October 11th, Turkish intelligence operatives arrested Mr. Hussein Mustafa, a 31-year-old resident of Dargireh village, in the Mobata sub-district of occupied Afrin.

The arrest took place as the intelligence agents carried out a raid on the home of his father, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa, near the Tarmanini quarry in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood. Hussein was apprehended without clear reasons. Notably, he had recently been forcibly deported from Turkey approximately ten days ago.

This event follows the documented arrest, reported by “afrinpost” on October 9th, of Mr. Mohammed Ramzi Kelo, a 30-year-old citizen, who was taken into custody in his home in Sorkeh village in the Rajo sub-district. This arrest occurred after his return from Aleppo city about two weeks ago, and he remains detained in the central prison of Marateh in the occupied city of Afrin. The reasons behind these arrests remain unclear, adding to concerns regarding human rights and due process in the region.
