Syrian Regime Soldier Injured in Turkish Military Drone Attack in Afrin

On October 21, a soldier was wounded when a Turkish military drone, targeted a position held by Syrian regime forces on the axis of the village of Mayassa in the Shara region of Afrin. The wounded soldier was transported to Al-Zahraa Hospital in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

In a related development, the Syrian regime forces, using heavy artillery and rocket launchers, targeted positions of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization on the axis of Kafr ‘Amma and Al-Qasr in the western countryside of Aleppo. This occurred amidst continuous flights of Russian reconnaissance aircraft in the region.

Earlier in the day, Russian fighter jets conducted several airstrikes on the positions of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization in the Sheikh Yousuf area in the western province of Idlib, resulting in the destruction of tunnels and fortifications and leading to casualties among the group’s members buried under the rubble.
