Two Killed and Several Injured in Syrian Army’s Shelling in Afrin

Yesterday, August 4, two individuals were killed, one identified as “Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Jouini” from Atarib, and two others were seriously injured when the Syrian army targeted a crane vehicle in Sherawa sub-district, rural Afrin.

The crane was attempting to pull out a civilian van that was hit by the Syrian army the previous day, resulting in injuries to seven Kurdish civilians from the villages of Burj Sulaiman and Kabashin. The victims were on their way back to their villages after leaving the occupied city of Afrin when the vehicle was targeted with a guided missile on the road between Fafertin and Burjke in Sherawa sub-district, occupied Afrin.

In another incident, the “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia targeted a military vehicle with a guided missile on the axis of the 46th Brigade in western Aleppo countryside. The attack claimed the lives of two soldiers from the Syrian army and left four others injured.

Furthermore, intense clashes erupted last night, August 4, between the Syrian army and the “National Army” militias on the Maraat-Harbul and Um Hosh farms axes in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo. The clashes involved the use of heavy and medium machine guns.

Additionally, the Syrian army shelled the surroundings of Kfar Taal village in western Aleppo countryside after their positions on the Baskharon axis in western Aleppo countryside were subjected to artillery shelling by “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization.
