Late into the night, Turkish forces targeted the town of Deir Jamal in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo with five highly explosive rockets. Some of the rockets landed on the Aleppo-Afrin road, while others hit close to residential areas, resulting in material damage to the properties of local residents.

In response, Syrian government forces have been engaged in artillery fire since the morning of August 10th, striking the vicinity of Maryamin village in the Shara sub-district, as well as the surrounding towns and villages of Taqad, Kafr Nouran, Darat Ghaza, Al-Qasr, Tadil, Al-Atarib, Bihfays, Sheikh Suleiman, Aasous, and Al-Wasata in the western Aleppo countryside.

It’s noteworthy that on August 8th, a suicide drone belonging to Turkish forces targeted the village of Al-Shawarga in the Shara sub-district, causing material damage to civilian homes.
