In a related development, two soldiers, “Majdi Yahya Qaray’a” from Hama province and “Mahmoud Abdul Razzaq Tuman,” were killed during morning artillery and rocket exchanges between the Syrian regime’s army and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) on the Kabana frontlines in northern Latakia countryside. A number of casualties were reported within the ranks of HTS, with some sustaining severe injuries.
Meanwhile, the Syrian regime forces carried out artillery shelling on HTS positions along the Sarmanya, Ankaoui, and Qirqur axes in Hama countryside, as well as targeting locations in the western Aleppo countryside, including Qasr, Kafr Amma, Al-Wasita, and Al-Ibzmuah.
