According to our reporter in Afrin, a young man was arrested and another was abducted since the beginning of June by checkpoints controlled by the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization and Turkish-affiliated SNA militias in the occupied region of Afrin.
In detail, on June 1st, elements from the checkpoint of Ash-Shatt, affiliated with the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia at the entrance of the occupied city of Azaz, abducted Ali Al-Mahamid, a young man from Daraa province, without knowledge of the charges against him. They took him to an unknown location.
On June 8th, members of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization arrested Mohammed Fahd Al-Jarhi, a 19-year-old resident of Harim city in Idlib countryside, at the Gazawiyah crossing in the Sherawa sub-district of occupied Afrin. He was apprehended while heading from Afrin to Idlib city, on charges of participating in protests against the organization.
