On June 7th, Syrian regime militias detained Mr. Agid Hamoud Hamoud (30 years old), from the village of Kurzêlê in the Sherawa district of the occupied Afrin region, in the town of Nubl, northern Aleppo countryside.
According to our reporter, Mr. Agid traveled to the town of Nubl to conduct some family-related affairs. However, he was apprehended, his car confiscated, and handed over to the political security forces in the town. Subsequently, he was transferred to the branch of the political security forces in the city of Aleppo.
The young man, Agid, owns a clothing store in the village of Fafin in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo countryside.
It is worth mentioning that the checkpoints of the Syrian regime’s security forces are heavily deployed on the road connecting the Shahba region to Aleppo city. They impose significant financial tolls on the residents, in addition to harassing and arresting them in order to extort money, similar to the practices of the “National Army” militias. They claim that their salaries are insufficient to sustain them for a single day.
