Turkish Forces Shell Afrin Village, SNA groups Attack Syrian Army Positions

On Saturday, Turkish forces stationed near the National Hospital in the occupied city of A’zaz reportedly shelled the village of Marnaaz in the Sharan District of Afrin countryside with heavy artillery. The extent of the damages is not yet known. Additionally, militias affiliated with the National Army allegedly targeted the village of al-Malkiya with mortar shells, causing material damages.

In a related development, three soldiers from the Syrian government forces were killed on Friday in an infiltration operation carried out by militants from the “Fath Al-Mubeen Operations Room” on the Sarmeen axis in Al-Ghab plain in Hama countryside. A tank was also destroyed on the Kafr Nabl axis in Jabal Al-Zawiya in southern Idlib.

The “Fath Al-Mubeen Operations Room,” affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, had reportedly intensified its attacks last Thursday, launching surprise attacks against positions of the Syrian government forces in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and Latakia countryside.
