‘Sultan Murad’ militia releases Kurdish citizen in exchange for 30 oil cans

On Thursday, the “Sultan Murad” militia released the citizen “Nidal Omar” from the village of Qara Qul in the district of Bulbul, after his father paid a ransom of 30 cans of oil (16 liters).

The “Sultan Murad” militia had kidnapped the citizen “Nidal Omar” (39 years old) on February 4, two days before the earthquake, in order to seize the house where he resides, located near the water tank in the Al-Zaydiyya neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin. The house belongs to one of his relatives who lives in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
