Our reporter in Afrin said that dozens of complaints submitted by the residents of the villages of Bulbul district to the Military Police militia regarding the abuses and violations of the Turkish-backed “Suqur Al-Shamal, Al-Hamzat and Sultan Murad” militias, regarding the logging of olive trees, were not heard.

The reporter added that IDPs from the countryside of Homs logged on Saturday 5/11/2022, 80 olive trees from a field located on the road to the village of Shekhurze. The field is owned by the forcibly displaced Kurdish person, Hamid Hassan, from the village of Qastal Miqdad, and he resides with his family in the al-Shahba area.

The reporter explained that the process of logging the trees followed the IDPs stealing of the olive crop from them.

It is noteworthy that in Bulbul district, IDPs uprooted about 80 olive trees from a field located in the outskirts of Qurneh village, which includes 120 trees, owned by the displaced Kurdish person Hussein Sheikho, from the people of Bulbul town.
