The Turkish forces deployed this morning at the entrances and exits of the villages of Kafr Jannah and Qatmeh to implement the ceasefire between “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia and “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization.
Private sources from within the “Al-Jabhaal-Shamiya” militia told afrinpost that they tried to launch a counterattack yesterday evening, after Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham took control of the village of Kafr Jannah, but the Turkish authorities put pressure and threats on the leaders of the “Al-Jabhaal-Shamiya” militia to withdraw from the area to the outskirts of the occupied city of Azaz.
According to our reporter, the HTS’s “police” forces deployed, yesterday evening, Monday, to the headquarters of the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia and inside the villages of Kafr Jannah and Qatmeh, after they were completely under their control.
Our reporter also indicated that the “Sultan Murad” militants were deployed at the Qatma Junction, in addition to Jamil Qurta’s villa, which was the headquarters of the so-called Ministry of Defense in the Syrian Interim Government, accompanied by the Turkish forces.
It is woth noting that the death toll rose to about 30, 14 of whom were members of the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia and 16 members of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham,” amid complete silence about the real number of dead results resulted from the four-day clashes in the occupied region of Afrin
