Our reporter in Mobata district stated that “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militiamen kidnapped, on Tuesday 25/10/2022, the young Kurdish person Nidal Muhammad Muslim Qalandar (35 years), from the town of Maabatli/ Mobata, from his shop near the old recruitment building, and took him to the security headquarters and severely beat him, under the pretext of harvesting the olive season from a field owned by his uncle “Izzat Qalandar”, which is located near the train bridge “Jisr Sous” at the junction of the village of Amara. Nidal transferred the crop to the olive press without informing the militiamen, who seized 35 oil cans and 11 large sacks of green olive.
Also, the militiamen of “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” kidnapped at the checkpoint located on the road to Amara village and Rajo town, on Wednesday 10/26/2022, the Kurdish person Saeed Rashid (56 years), from the village of Meydana- Rajo district, who works as a bus driver, while the pretext of his kidnapping was not known, as well as the destination to which he was taken.
In the village of Ali Jarro in Bulbul district, the so-called “Mustafa Qaroua”, a leader of the “Suqur Al-Shamal” militia, summoned the villagers to give up their harvest for this season for his personal benefit and threatened those who refuse his orders to be beaten and accused of opposing and obstructing the march of the Syrian revolution.
The Kurdish person, Rashid Hannan Ibo, who was the director of the village school, and the person Hamza Khalil, refused to give up and hand over their crop, and presented him the official documents “property deeds.” So, Mustafa Qarou’ and his gunmen beat, tortured and humiliated them in front of the eyes of the villagers and the IDPs, and took possession of the crop and plundered it by force of “weapons.”
In another village in Mobata district, which is controlled by “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia, the gunmen, harvested on Tuesday 25/10/2022, the green olive crop from a field owned by the Kurdish person Muhammad Suleiman Muhammad al-Muhajir, and expelled his legal agent, Nuri Jojo, from the field, which includes about 300 olive trees.
