Afrin Liberation Forces issued a statement to the public in which it revealed the outcome of its operations carried out from August 23 to September 9, which resulted in the killing of 4 Turkish soldiers and 12 of Turkish-backed militants, and the injury of 3 soldiers and a number of militants, as the forces promised to carry out more operations.
On August 23, 2022, an operation in the village of Maryamin in Shara district, targeted a base of the Turkish army, and resulted in the killing of two Turkish soldiers and the injury of a third, where the information about the outcome of this operation was delayed, the statement said.
Also, in the 4/9/2022 operation, a base of the Turkish army was targeted in the village of Kaljibrin in the Azaz countryside, which resulted in the death of a soldier and the injury of two others.
In an operation on the Harbel axis on 7/9/2022, 4 militants were killed, a fifth was wounded, and a military vehicle was destroyed.
On 9/8/2022, in an operation on the axis of the village of Sheikh Eis in the Tel Rifaat district, a Turkish soldier was killed.
On 9/9/2022, two operations were carried out in Jarablus and the countryside of Afrin. The Jarablus operation resulted in the killing of Turkish-backed gunmen and the destruction of a motorcycle. The second targeted an ammunition depot for the militants, killing 6 of them and destroying the depot.
