Turkish forces shell villages in northern countryside of Aleppo

Local sources reported the renewed shelling by the Turkish forces, this morning, May 16, on villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The Turkish shelling targeted a number the villages of (Samouqa, Umm Al-Qura, Al-Wardiya, Khrebsha, Deir Qaker, Adar, Shaala Umm Al-Abed, Mediouna, Harbel, Al-Shahba Dam, and the outskirts of Tel Rifaat town,
with dozens of artillery shells.

The Turkish artillery shelled the village of Sheikh Issa and the outskirts of Tel Rifaat alone with 15 shells, while the village of Harbel was hit by more than 25 rockets, and the shelling targeted the villages of Samouqa, Dam al-Shahba, Umm al-Qura and al-Wardiya with about 30 artillery shells. Knowing that wheat and barley fields were damaged by the shelling.

Yesterday evening, the Turkish forces shelled the villages of Teneb and Sogunaka in Afrin countryside, with dozens of artillery shells, causing material damage to uninhabited homes, as well as raising fear in the villages adjacent to the targeting sites such as the village of Kashtaar.
