According to our reporter in the city of Afrin, “the Turkish-backed militias kidnapped two citizens of the original residents of Afrin on a false accusation, and then handed them over to the headquarters of the “Military Police” militia.
The Turkish-supported “Sultan Murad” militia kidnapped on May 17, Mahmoud Saleh Ramo, 55, who is of the Arab component and from the village of Qastal Kishk in Shara district, and then handed him over to the “Military Police” militia.
Also, on May 17, gunmen from the security office of “Ahrar al-Sham” militia kidnapped the citizen, “Rasheed Muhammad Abdo,” 29, from the village of Kurzêlê, and handed him over to the “Military Police” militia, under the pretext of dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.
Our correspondent indicated that there has been a massive campaign of arbitrary arrests, two days ago, by the Turkish forces and its armed militias, causing a state of fear and anxiety among the Kurds and defenseless civilians of Afrin.
