“Muhammad Al-Jassem Abu Amsha”, the leader of the Turkish-supported “Suleiman Shah” militia, does not hesitate to continue his violations and attacks, along with his members, in his militia’s control areas in the countryside of Afrin. Despite the decision to dismiss him issued by the tripartite committee assigned by the so-called “Azm Chamber” on February 22, 2022 after the investigation in the violations commited by him and other leaders of the “Amshat” militia. On March 13, 2022, he returned to his position.
On May 9, a group of “Amashat” militia in the village of Kakhre – Mobata / Ma’batli district severely beat the 11-year-old child, “Alan Muhammad Hasso,” on the pretext that he looks at the pro-militants IDP women, and he was taken to a hospital in Afrin for treatment.
An armed member of “Amshat” called “Abu Rahmo” severely beat and insulted the Kurdish citizen “Fawzi Mustafa Madinah” on May 13, in front of the grocery shop of the Kurdish citizen “Faeq Jamil Agha”, in the town of Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid.
Alamshat armed men also assaulted other elderly people, aged between 75 and 85, who went to the court to file a complaint against them. However, the so-called “Hassan Daghim,” nicknamed Abu Muadh, who is the director of the Moral Guidance Department in the Turkish-backed “National Army” militia, sent threats to the elderly to withdraw cases and dropping them under threat of liquidation.
About a week ago, IDPs backed by the same militia stole equipment from the olive-oil press belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Zaki Rashid”. The thefts included solar panels, dynamos and other equipment, with losses estimated at about $3,000.
Among those who were attacked by Alamshat was the so-called general Abdel Moneim Naasan al-Mu’in, when a group of armed men of “Amashat” (about 30) attacked him in his office, beat and insulted him and filmed the incident.
It is worth mentioning that the so-called “Naasan al-Mu’in” was appointed by a decision of the Azm Chamber as a military commander in Shiye district on 1/3/2022 against the background of the decision of the investigation committee on violations in the district, to isolate “Abu Amsha” and dissolve Sheikh Al-Hadid security group, and activate in their place the military police detachment. In addition to removing the checkpoints and military points that were established there.
What happens now in Shiye-Sheikh al-Hadid district is only a prove that the accountability is impossible, despite the fact that dozens of witnesses and the investigation committee has worked for more than two months, and despite the plenty evidences of violations committed by the “Amashat” militia, Abu Amsha returned supported by the Turkish intelligence, where the Turkish agent Zia Yusef Arbacik visited him at his headquarters and described Al-Amshat armed as (Mujahideen) and the (Toran Army).
